A Note About the Coronavirus Crisis:
We can all agree that curling up in a lap or gathering around for story time is the best way to share books with children. But during this time of physical distancing and staying safely at home, videos can offer the next-best-experience for a reading experience. With that in mind, I am posting read-alouds and some book-related craft activities videos here, and will be adding more. Take care and be safe.

Welcome to my blog. Thanks for visiting! Here you will find upcoming events; ideas for expanding picture books--mine and others--for children; notes on my process; art and nature ideas for families, teachers and kids, and links to other sites that might interest you. Please check back often! And if you'd like to join my mailing list for updates, please email me at frogsongpond(at)yahoo(dot)com.

  1. Your craft ideas are awesome! And as one who is just now learning to make videos for my students, I have to tell you that the quality of your videos is top notch! Planning to buy each of the three books. I have two others in my classroom but NONE at home.
